Warranty

The official terms and conditions for XDiavel warranty are as follows: Three service coupons must be used to ensure continued validity of the conventional warranty Ducati offers consumers: at 1,000 km (or six months), 12,000 km (or 12 months) and 24,000 km (or 24 months), to be performed by any official Ducati workshop. In the case of the Hypermotard, Hypermotard SP and Hyperstrada bikes, starting with model year 2013, service coupons are for 1,000 km (or six months), 15,000 km (or 12 months) and 30,000 km (or 24 months). The warranty will be forfeited if the bike is repaired or overhauled by an unauthorised workshop, or if non-original parts are used; the warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, overloading and improper or negligent use, and does not apply to motorcycles used in sporting competitions of any type; motorcycles which are rented out are particularly subject to wear and damage as use and maintenance may not always be performed in accordance with the instructions in the Service Booklet.

The warranty is international, and is therefore also valid outside the country where the bike was purchased; it is transferred to the new owner if the bike is sold, and includes roadside assistance and Ducati Card Assistance medical insurance.

Please note that the above general conditions of warranty offered by Ducati do not in any way compromise the mandatory rights of the physical person identified as the "consumer" under his or her own national legislation. The conventional warranty offered by Ducati therefore adds to and does not replace the warranty provided under the applicable legislation.

Maintenance - more miles, less maintenance.

The enjoyment of riding, reliability and maximum containment of maintenance costs are among the main criteria that drive every engineering project in Ducati. We have spread out services to intervals of 24,000 km (15,000 miles) and on some models the main Desmo Service is not necessary until 30,000 km (18,000 miles). Even the simplest services, the Oil Service, have been spaced out to 12,000 km (7,500 miles) or 15,000 km (9,000 miles), values that represent an absolute reference for high performance engines.

Furthermore, Ducati continuously invests in the technical training of its dealership staff: only through the Official Ducati Service network will you find the skills and tools needed to carry out all those fundamental procedures that will ensure your Ducati continues to perform at the highest level.

Roadside Assistance for XDiavel Owners

Ducati and ACI Global have established Ducati Card Assistance, which covers Ducati XDiavel customers in case of breakdown, accident, injury or illness, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in Europe, the USA and Canada, for 24 months from the date when the bike is delivered.

Furthermore, Ducati continuously invests in the technical training of its dealership staff: only through the Official Ducati Service network will you find the skills and tools needed to carry out all those fundamental procedures that will ensure your Ducati continues to perform at the highest level.

Ducati Card Assistance includes the following assistance to the XDiavel and XDiavel S:

• Emergency road service and towing
• Transport of passengers following emergency road service
• Return home of passengers or continuation of journey
• Recovery of repaired motor vehicle
• Repatriation of motor vehicle from foreign country
• Localisation and dispatch of spare parts to foreign country
• Hotel charges
• Retrieval of motor vehicle from off the road in case of an accident
• Advance of penalty bonds to a foreign country

This service is available free of charge to all Ducati XDiavel customers who have purchased their bike from the Ducati sales network in the following countries: Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, the UK, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Cyprus, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, the USA* and Canada* (*the service is limited to emergency road service and towing, and retrieval of the motor vehicle from off the road in case of breakdown only)
